# Send SMS Invite (using your contact list)

#### Use SMS Invites to spread the word about your event beyond existing attendees.

Use this feature to invite people directly from your contacts — especially helpful for spreading the word to new audiences.

Go to **My Events** → Select the event you want to I**nvite** people for.

Go to the **Event Detail** page. Click on **SMS Invite**.

**First-time users:** You may be prompted to allow contact access.

* Tap **Allow Contacts Access**, then **Continue**, and select **Share All Contacts**.

Choose contacts from your list and click **Add to Saved Contacts**.

There is **no limit** to how many contacts you can save in the **Saved Contacts** tab.

You’ll be directed to the **Saved Contacts** tab. Click **Next**.

At a time, you can invite **up to 100 contacts** from the Saved Contacts tab.

Type your invite message. The message will automatically include the event name and event link.

Click **Send** to share it via SMS.

Your SMS Invite has been successfully sent to the selected contacts.

#### Tips & Best Practices

* Use **SMS Invites** early in the event promotion cycle to reach potential attendees directly.
* Keep SMS messages short, clear, and action-oriented.

**Troubleshooting / Notes**

* If contact access is denied, a pop-up will appear:\
  \&#xNAN;**“Contact access denied. Please allow full access in Settings and try again.”**
* Make sure your device has the latest permissions enabled for smooth sending.
